Ultra-Light Nylon w/Gig Bag

$329.99

The Ultra-Light is the smallest, lightest, full-scale travel guitar on the market. Our proprietary In-Body Tuning System uses standard tuning machines relocated into the body, eliminating the need for a headstock. You get the same full-scale playing experience you're used to on an instrument that's substantially shorter and lighter than a typical full-size classical guitar.

Awesome little guitar

"I have had my ultra-light nylon for three years and it has gone to Mexico City, the French Alps, the Caribbean, Northern Spain and all over the US. It fits in the overhead compartment of small planes and can easily be put in a daypack for biking and hiking. I love having a guitar with me at all times. Recently the high string frets 6-9 went dead and buzzy. Traveler Guitar was very responsive by email and a few twists of the included truss rod solved the problem. While it is clearly a stopgap for a full sized guitar, I also use it when writing out music as it can dangle by its strap leaving both arms free for writing. I wish the preamp had a Bluetooth function so I could get rid of my pesky earbud cord."

Plays easy

"People mentioned them being hard to tune. . . . Well just take your time and they tune right up AND stay in tune really well."

Great for taking on travel, but that comes with some limitations

"I bought the ultra-light nylon so that I can continue to practice even when I'm traveling. It fulfills that role extremely well, but there are a couple of limitations inherent in its compact nature: It's difficult to tune because it's difficult to turn the tuning pegs without the strings getting in the way, the change in frequency while tuning can suddenly jump (probably from friction between the strings and the tailpiece), and there is no good place to locate a tuner. It's also so quiet that you really want to use it with an amp. Overall, I'm really pleased with it, but I want others to know that it can be a little frustrating."

Great more, but more details in owner’s manual

"Great for practicing anywhere. Would appreciate more details on setting up and playing."

Pretty good

"Guitar sounds decent, however it has a buzzing open G string. Have contacted company twice by phone and no answer. Sent e-mail and awaiting reply."

Ideal Guitar for staying in practice while traveling

"I have reviewed this guitar on my YouTube Channel "Mike Messes with Music" https://youtu.be/EL3gvr2Kijc"

Great for Practice

"This is my 3rd Traveler guitar (an Escape & an Ultralight steel string & this Nylon Ultralight), and the quality has been consistent on all 3. I'm usually a steel string player, but my hands dry out & finger tips crack in the winter. Nylon strings are much easier on my hands when this happens. I've tried Ukulele's & Guilele's, but they don't satisfy my "Picking "urges. I purchased the Nylon Ultralight because of it's size, the scale length & the convenience of silently practicing while my hands are sore. It's an awesome product & highly recommended. As a steel string player I wish the fret board was a little narrower & radiused; but other than that I have no negatives. If I lost it I would definitely replace it."
