As a response to regulations imposed in 2017 by The Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES), Traveler Guitar has made the decision to move away from rosewood.
CITES The Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora, also known as CITES, is an international agreement between governments. The agreement is an established, international conservation effort aimed at reducing and eliminating the trade of endangered wild animals and plants. NAMM offers resources that identify changes to the CITES Appendices and other outcomes that would have the greatest impact on the Music Products Industry.
