Traveler Acoustic vs. Baby & Backpacker

How does the AG-105 measure up vs. competitors?

Traveler Acoustic vs. Baby & Backpacker

Since our inception in 1992, Traveler Guitar has been known for making extremely portable, innovative, high-quality travel guitars—and, over the last 21 years, we’ve received an unending stream of requests from customers asking us to produce a true, hollow-body acoustic. Now, it’s here: The Traveler Acoustic AG-105.

The AG-105 stands apart from its competitors in the travel acoustic category on several criteria. First, while most travel acoustic guitar makers sacrifice playability in order to make their instruments more portable, we did not. The Traveler Acoustic is full-scale, meaning that despite its compact size, the AG-105 has the same playable area as your full-sized acoustic guitar. Second, the Traveler Acoustic is shorter in overall length than its competitors. It also has more frets, better balance, and features the first right-hand tuning system ever used on a hollow-body acoustic guitar.
