Bassist, producer, and composer/arranager Andres Rotmistrovsky has toured the world—but he doesn’t have to leave his apartment in New York City to put miles on his Traveler TB-4P Bass.
“It’s great,” Rotmistrovsky says, when asked about navigating the city with his Traveler Bass. “It’s a different experience for bass players who are used carrying big and heavy instruments.”
Last month, Andres recorded not one, but two albums using his TB-4P Bass.
“The first thing that impressed me was the feeling of the neck. It was such a comfortable feeling, you know? Better than most of my basses.” But it was the TB-4P’s sound that led him to use his Traveler Bass for recording. “It was amazing. Everybody in the studio was impressed by the huge sound that this bass has.”
A native of Buenos Aires, Argentina, Andres is a Berkelee School of Music grad who has played with everyone from Joan Baez to Paquito D’ Rivera.
